Got this due to having a gas furnace unit that heats one of our rooms, along with our other gas appliances. Besides that I was happy that it detects refrigerant as well which makes it a perfect addition to my tools that help keep us safe. It actually sits in an accessibly 'utility' drawer. Along with our packets of soy sauce, groovey sauce, rubber bands, mostly working batteries, paper clip remover, etc..

I ran both gases by it to test functionality, and it passed both times with accurate readings. Overall for the price, I definitely think these units are worth the purchase. Instead of wondering if the air is being poisoned, it is easy to check and have peace of mind (at least in that area). Functionally, it's as easy as selecting options and pressing a button. The read out tells you the measurement it detects in the air, and the flexible sensor tube allows for easy positioning in weird corners or areas. Very nice unit!
